A lot of tears, sweat and maybe even some blood (from aluminum on my reflector) went into this project. I wanted to share these amazing, brave, beautiful women who bared it all. They have forever impacted my life. It’s not about not wearing makeup, but to feel just as confident without it as you do with it. Alicia Keys inspired me when I saw her no makeup look during a performance. I loved seeing how their confidence grew after seeing their picture and realizing, “Hey, this wasn’t so scary, and I like the way I look without it just as much as I do with it.”
